Rebel Robotics' Programming Leader, Ross Williams, has been awarded a National Merit Scholarship of $2500 through the prestigious 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program (NMSP). Ross is one of the 2,500 Merit Scholar recipients chosen from a nationwide talent pool of more than 15,000 Finalists. Winners were chosen in each state based on their academic achievements, skills, and potential for success in college. According to the organization, "Less than one percent of the highest-scoring entrants in each state advance as Semifinalists in September, followed by the announcement of Finalists in February."
