She Has Empowerment (SHE) is an affinity group under the auspices of Great Neck South's robotics team - Rebel Robotics Team 2638. The group's goal is to support and educate young women on the team and in the school community as they entertain the study of STEM courses and careers. The group's overreaching goal is to empower young women to pursue STEM through education, outreach, and experiential learning.

SHE (She Has Empowerment) embraces the FIRST core values of equity and inclusivity. As such, it is dedicated to providing STEM educational and supportive experiences to its members, the school and the community at large. We serve as a resource for young women in STEM by offering educational and vocational opportunities, emotional support, guidance and a message of empowerment.
