Our Establishment & History of ION
Our team was established in 2007, Since our beginning as a 10-person team, we have been an active member of the metropolitan New York FIRST Community. Now, with a team of over 100 members, we are always looking for ways to reach out to our international colleagues to form alliances of support, education and collaboration. The International Outreach Network (ION) is the initiative that incorporates all our efforts to make that reality.
Our Goals of ION
- To organize our variety of international outreach efforts under one umbrella and expand efforts to assist international
teams coming to the New York area to compete.
- To become a clearinghouse and mentor partner technically, socially, and emotionally for
teams traveling to our location and those who reach out to us virtually.
- To spread our CAD self-study program to teams who want to educate their members.
